A trip to Munnar

Munnar is perhaps a paradise on earth. I am always intrigued by the beauty of this terrain. My friend used to say that this place has a sign of God in his own hands.

Lush green tea gardens, clouds kissing the hilltops, roads winding down to the distant valleys, cool misty breeze that prompts you to place your palm under the armpit, you feel the calmness and serenity of one of the most popular hill stations in South India that is Munnar. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountains streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It is perfectly located at 1600 m above sea level. In the colonial past the British used this place as their summer resort. The unique flora and fauna, the picturesque landscape and the music of nature will tempt the artist in you to come out of your shell.
